자신의 높은 자아와 영적 교사들에 관해 가끔 혼동이 있다. 분리의 관점에서 보면, 이것을 이해하기가 매우 어렵다. 그러나 진화하는 관계들이 이루는 포함의 그물망으로 삶을 생각할 때, 높은 자아가 관계라는 큰 조직의 일부로 체험되고 인식되기 시작한다. 높은 자아는 분리가 아니라, 다른 이들과 의미 있게 결합한 당신의 일부이다. 그래서 당신의 높은 자아는 교사들의 높은 자아와 한데 결합하여 있다. 교사들은 이제 이원성이 없다. 왜냐하면 그들에게는 또 다른 자아가 없기 때문이다. 당신은 자아가 둘이다. 하나는 창조된 참자아이고, 또 하나는 당신이 창조한 자아이다. 당신은 자신이 창조한 자아를 참자아에 봉사하게 함으로써 이 둘을 목적과 봉사로 의미 있게 결합시키고 내적 갈등을 영원히 종식시킨다.
