당신은 세상에 일하러 왔으며, 배우고 공헌하려고 왔다. 당신은 쉬는 곳에서 일하는 곳으로 왔으며, 일을 마치면 쉬는 곳인 고향으로 간다. 이것은 오로지 알 수만 있으며, 당신이 준비되면 앎이 당신에게 이것을 드러낼 것이다.

지금은 그저 정각마다 연습하라. 자신에게 세상에 일하러 왔다고 말하고 나서, 잠깐 짬을 내어 이러한 현실을 느껴보라. 당신의 일은 당신의 현재 직업보다 더 크다. 그리고 지금 당신이 사람들과 함께 하려는 일이나 사람들을 위해서 하려는 일보다 더 크다. 또한 지금 당신이 자신을 위해서 하려는 일보다 더 크다. 당신은 아직 그 일이 무엇인지 모른다는 것을 이해하라. 그 일은 당신에게 드러날 것이고, 당신을 위해 서서히 전개되겠지만, 오늘은 당신이 세상에 일하러 왔다는 것만 알고 있으라. 그럼으로써 당신은 자신에게 힘·목적·운명이 있음을 알 것이고, 당신이 선물을 가져온 참고향이 있음을 확신할 것이다.
