우주의 지혜에 의지하라. 당신 자신에게만 의지하지 말라. 왜냐하면 당신 혼자는 아무것도 알지 못하기 때문이다. 혼자는 앎도 없고 관계도 없다. 그러니 우주의 지혜에 의지하라. 우주의 지혜는 당신이 자신의 앎 안에서 이용할 수 있으며, 교사들의 현존으로 활성화된다. 당신 혼자는 아무것도 할 수 없으니, 어떤 것도 혼자 할 수 있다고 생각하지 말라. 그러나 삶과 함께하면, 당신의 성취와 당신의 가장 큰 공헌으로 예정된 모든 것이 드러나 보이며, 또 그것들이 이루어질 가능성이 커진다.

그러므로 정각마다, 오늘의 말을 상기하라. 명상 연습에서는, 다시 한번 고요와 침묵 속에 있는 앎의 안식처를 찾으라. 당신은 지금 마음을 열고 겸허히 우주의 지혜를 받아들이는 법을 배우고 있으니, 우주의 지혜가 당신에게 표현되는 것을 허용하라.

오늘 하루가 듣는 날, 묵상하는 날, 받아들이는 날이 되게 하라. 습관적인 판단이나 편견에 희생물이 되지 말라. 삶에 봉사하는 당신에게 삶이 베풀 수 있도록 오늘 하루가 삶에 진실로 다가가는 날이 되게 하라.
