앎은 온전히 당신과 함께 있다. 그러나 당신이 아직 도달하지 못한, 마음 한 부분에 자리잡고 있다. 앎은 당신의 참자아, 참마음을 의미하며, 우주에서의 당신의 참된 관계들을 의미한다. 앎에는 또한 당신이 세상에서 응답해야 할 큰 부름이 담겨 있고, 당신의 본성, 당신의 내재된 모든 능력과 기량, 심지어 당신의 한계에 이르기까지, 세상에 이롭도록 주어진 모든 것에 대한 완벽한 활용 방안이 담겨 있다.

앎은 당신과 함께 있는데, 당신은 어디에 있는가? 오늘 당신이 어디에 있는지 생각해보라. 앎과 함께 있지 않다면, 당신은 어디에 있는가? 그러니 오늘 10분간씩 세 번, 단순히 육체적으로나 지리적으로만 당신이 어디에 있는지 생각하지 말고, 세상에서 자신을 인식하는 관점에서 당신이 어디에 있는지 생각해보라. 아주 대단히 주의 깊게 생각하라. 당신 마음이 당신 주의를 딴 곳으로 돌리지 못하게 하라. 준비 초기인 지금, 당신이 이것을 매우 진지하게 묻는 것은 아주 중요하다.
