세상은 당신 안에 있다. 당신은 그것을 느낄 수 있다. 앎을 통해 당신은 모든 관계의 현존을 느낄 수 있다. 이것이 신의 체험이다. 그래서 다른 사람들과의 의미 있는 관계가 그처럼 큰 가능성을 품는다. 왜냐하면 당신은 어느 한 사람과의 참된 결합에서 모든 생명체와 결합을 체험하기 시작할 수 있기 때문이다. 그래서 당신이 관계를 진정으로 갈구한다. 관계 안에서 결합을 체험하고 목적을 표현하려는 진정한 동기가 이것이다. 사람들은 그들의 관계가 자신의 환상을 실현하고 불안감에서 자신을 튼튼히 보호하기 위한 것으로 생각한다. 이런 생각은 관계의 참목적이 드러나 이해될 수 있도록 버려야 한다. 그래서 배움의 과정에서 버리는 일이 가장 먼저이다. 여기에서 당신은 배우는 법을 배운다. 여기에서 당신은 받아들이는 법을 배운다.

정각마다, 오늘의 말을 기억하라. 깊은 명상에서는 앎으로 더 깊이 들어가도록 다시 ‘란’을 말하라. 내면으로 들어가기 전에 먼저 오늘의 말을 반복하고 나서, 숨을 내쉴 때마다 조용히 ‘란’을 말하라. 마음이 이 명상에만 집중하게 하라. 이 명상이 당신을 앎에 깊이 연결하게 하라. 그러면 당신은 전보다 더 깊이 들어갈 것이다. 이때 당신은 구하는 것을 모두 찾을 것이며, 세상에 대해 혼란스럽지 않을 것이다.
