당신은 이미 어떤 사람인데, 왜 다른 어떤 사람이 되려고 하는가? 본래 당신으로 있는 것이 더 낫다. 본래 당신은 개인의 본성을 띤 매개체 안에 담긴 앎의 힘이다. 이 힘은 이미 내재되어 있으며, 지금 커지고 있다. 당신은 이미 어떤 것인데 왜 오늘 다른 어떤 것이 되려 하는가? 왜 본래 당신으로 있지 않는가? 무엇이 본래 당신인지 알아보라. 당신이 누구인지 알아보는 일은 대단한 용기가 필요하다. 왜냐하면 당신이 자신과 세상에 품은 당신 자신의 이상주의적 관점에 실망할 것을 각오해야 하기 때문이다. 이 일은 또한 격려도 필요하다. 왜냐하면 자신을 미워하는 일을 포기할 것을 각오해야 하기 때문이다. 자신을 미워하는 것은 삶에서 자신을 분리하는 것이다.
