إن السماح بوجود الشك يعني وجود إيمان عظيم. وهذا يعني أن هناك نوعا آخر من اليقين آخذ في النشوء. عندما تسمح بوجود الشك، فهذا يعني أنك تصبح صادقا، لأنك في الحقيقة تفتقر إلى اليقين. عند السماح بوجود الشك، تصبح صبورا، لأن استعادة اليقين تتطلب صبرا. عند السماح بوجود الشك، تصبح متسامحا، إذ تتراجع عن إصدار الأحكام وتصبح شاهدا على الحياة بداخلك والحياة من حولك. اقبل الشك اليوم حتى تتعلم. دون الافتراضات، ستبحث عن المعرفة الروحية. دون أحكام، ستستوعب احتياجك الحقيقي.

في بداية كل ساعة اليوم، كرر عبارة اليوم وافحص ما تعنيه. افحصها من خلال مشاعرك وافحصها في ضوء ما تراه في العالم من حولك. الشك موجود إلى أن تكون على يقين. إذا سمحت بوجوده، يمكن أن تسمح للرب بأن يخدمك.
