خلف عقلك تكمن المَعرِفة الرُوحِية، الجوهر الحقيقي من كيانك، نفسك الحقيقية، ليست النفس التي بنيتها للتفاوض بشأن العالم، ولكن نفسك الحقيقية. من هذه النفس الحقيقية تنبع الأفكار والانطباعات والميول والاتجاهات. لا يمكنك بعد سماع معظم ما تنقله نفسك الحقيقية إليك، إلا أنك مع مرور الوقت، ستتعلم أن تسمع عندما يصبح عقلك ساكنا وعندما تطور الدقة اللازمة في الاستماع والتمييز.

اليوم تدرب في ثلاث فترات مدة كل منها 15 دقيقة. استمع بعناية أكثر من اليوم السابق. استمع إلى ميولك العميقة. مرة أخرى يجب أن تستمع دون إصدار أحكام. يجب ألا تعدل أي شيء. يجب أن تصغي بشكل عميق حتى تتعلم كيف تسمع.
