بغض النظر عن المؤسسات العظيمة المبنية على فرديتك وكل ما يرتبط بك شخصيا — جسدك، وأفكارك، والصعوبات التي تواجهها، وأشكال تعبيرك المحددة، وخصائصك المتفردة، ومواهبك — فأنت لست منفصلا عن الحياة. ويظهر ذلك جليا إذا نظرت إلى نفسك ببساطة وأدركت أن بنية جسدك، نسيج حياتك المادية ذاتها، مصنوعة بالكامل من نفس الشيء الذي صنعت منه الحياة المادية. من الواضح تماما أنك مصنوع من نفس ”الشيء“ الذي صنع منه كل شيء حولك. ما هو غامض هو عقلك. يبدو أنه في نقطة فريدة من الفهم، لكنه جزء من الحياة مثل نسيجك الجسدي. أنت كفرد غير واع بمصدرك وبشمولك الكامل في الحياة. أصبحت فرديتك عبئا الآن، ولكنها ستكون سعادة عظيمة لك حين يكون بمقدورها التعبير عن الحياة نفسها.
